The hub of Fanny O Dea’s is without doubt the bar, with a Terazza and Liscannor flag floor, Oak counter and back bar, Old photographs, the famous Gouldings Clock, old enamel signs and stove all contribute to the atmosphere and make it the heart of the pub. Adjoining the bar is the Old Kitchen at Fanny O Dea’s with the original turf fire and crane which dates back to 1790 here you can sit into one of the leather tub chairs or the Chesterfield leather sofa and enjoy the aroma of a real turf fire and step back in time. Fanny O’ Deas Bar is first and foremost a friendly pub where you can grab some food, beer, some delicious wine or sample the famous Egg Flip.

For generations, music and song has featured prominently in Fanny O Dea’s. Lissycasey has a host of great local musicians, singers and dancers and spontaneous sessions often make the rafters ring, At Fanny O Dea’s we provide a variety of instruments for visiting musicians. Just in case!
Sport on the Box
Some might say we are the local headquarters for major sporting events! We watch them all, GAA, golf. racing, soccer, rugby and indeed all sports are catered for with our state of the art screens carefully positioned around the pub. Being a stones throw from Lissycasey’s GAA clubs main playing pitch you can get fed and watered before or after the big game.
